Made-to-order items
All of our tees are made to order. Because each item is produced specifically for you, we do not accept returns for change of mind, including (but not limited to) ordering the wrong size, deciding you don’t like the style/color, or accidental orders.
Returns we accept (production/fulfillment issues)
Within 14 days of delivery, we will replace or refund items with verified issues such as:
- Damaged in transit
- Defective print
- Misprint
- Wrong item received
Photo proof is required (clear photos of the item and the issue, and packaging photos if the item was damaged in transit).
In many cases, once verified, we may issue a replacement without requiring a return.
Resolution for approved issues
If approved, we will do one of the following (depending on the issue):
- Send a replacement at no cost, or
- Refund your order to the original payment method
Free return shipping
Free return shipping applies only to approved production/fulfillment issues listed above. If a return is required, we will provide a prepaid return label and instructions.
Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
Size exchanges (allowed — at your expense)
We do not accept returns for sizing. However, we do allow size exchanges when:
- Requested within 14 days of delivery
- Item is unworn/unused, in original condition (and original packaging if applicable)
- You cover return shipping and reshipment costs
How to request a return/replacement/exchange
Email support@outofhisword.com with:
- Your order number
- A short description of the issue
- Photos (required for damage/defect/misprint/wrong item)
Refund timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for your bank/card issuer to post the refund after processing.
Not eligible for returns
- Change-of-mind returns
- Size-based returns (size exchanges are allowed as described above)
- Gift cards (if offered)
